Pen tool curve is not showing

I have an issue in Photoshop pen tool when i try to make curves it's not visible but actually working in background which i can't see. i tried in my friend's laptop and it just working fine and i tried in adobe XD too it works. But in Photoshop when i try to make shapes my curves are not showing and i cant manipulate the curves. What is the problem? Help please. Thanks in advance..

My friend gave it to me and he has same files but no bugs. why am i facing this?

    Which version of Photoshop you are using? Please provide screenshot with canvas, Layers panel and Options bar visible (it is tool options bar just below menus).
