Pen Tool issue with Pixel option grayed out

I am suddenly having issues with my Photoshop and the pen tool. My computer and another one in my class suddenly does not allow me to select the pixel option when I am using the pen tool. It is grayed out and this is both for existing or new options. It was working not to long ago too. Any idea on why this is? My Photoshop version is V22.5.1.

Hi. I'm pretty sure you can't use the pixel option with the pen tool. You can use that option with other tools like Rectangle.

Uggghhh... lol.. OK I just realized that I had to work with the line tool and not the pen tool. Everything is fine, sorry for the trouble!
