Pen tool not working

So you can only make a line so thick but the best part is when you make a line now with pen tool, no options appear when right clicking. And even more fun? Click off the path that shows a line, it vanishes, because when you make something, who needs to see it right? As with text tool, I highly recommend going back to the previous version of Pen Tool.
