Pen tool switches from fore to background color

When I use the pen tool once it paints in the foreground color, doing the next stroke it will use the background color.

The foreground/background color panel won´t switch though.

The color changed every time i stop painting and is more than annoying. Anyone experienced that and know how to fix it?

Which painting tool are you using to stroke the path(s)?

You could try resetting the tool by right clicking on the icon in the tool options bar and then clicking Reset Tool

I was using the pencil tool, and resetting it seems to have done the job. Thanks!
