Photo shop Audio Not working

I run Photoshop 2020, I am currently working on a project but I only have one problem, There is no audio in photoshop at all, It won't even pop up in the volume mixer. But after I export the video I could hear the audio. So I know that the app itself has no audio at all. Please help me out here.

Go to Mac OS System Preferences/Security and Privacy/Full Disk Access and make sure Photoshop is listed and checked.

Can you be more specific?  Can you hear no audio from any video you open in Photoshop, or is it just this file?

I think your screen shot is showing properties for the added (green) track in the timeline.  Is that right?

Have you opened that file in another app to test it?

Have you tried other video in Photoshop.

 

Where exactly did the problem adio come from?  It could be a CODEC problem as Mike says, and as you are using an old version, it might not support that audio track.  If you know how the audio was recorded you could search for the device used and Photoshop.

Thanks for the screenshots, you seem to have all your icons setup correctly. Why are you running 2020. Audio is a newer feature and if you update Photoshop you may have better success. Also try another audio file as a test, anything free can be problematic. What audio file format are you using, migth just be a codec issue in photoshop.

mp4 audio, It works when i export it but not when im editing. And to be honest I did not know you can update photoshop, I thought you have to pay for the newer version, This problem did occur out of no where though, I made animations with 2020 version before with no problem until now.
