hey everyone,

A person i know recently got a hold of the photoshop cs6 program, he got the the EXE for free, but the actually program is the real thing as it requires a lience . A message pops up saying he can go buy a it license key if he pays money. Adobe doesnt sell cs6 anymore, and he is willing to pay to get a ligitate lisence key. My question is do adobe have a problem with this? He got the the EXE for free but pay for the licence key.

please let me know,

thanks

In addition to what John Smith said, many copies of CS6 that can be found on the eBay, etc., are pirated copies and come with malware. Be wary about installing it. Although Adobe no longer sells the license for CS6, scammers who lurk on forums may try to PM you and pretend to be Adobe. If that happens, either ignore them or click the Report button.

Here are the current plans that Adobe is offering:

The Photography plan (Annual, $9.99 per month) is a good deal if all you want is Photoshop and Lightroom.

This is a user forum. As users, all we can do is give you Adobe's policy, which we did. Your friend can contact Adobe Customer Care:

Click the chat icon in the lower right and type "agent".

Adobe no longer sells CS6, so converting that "free" program to paid is not possible
