Photoshop 20.0.1 freeze on windows 10 pro

I'm having a lot of problems with the latest PS build. The biggest issue is the fact that it freezes after I put my computer to sleep and wake it.

This is happening for many windows users apparently:

It's not my hardware. I've ran lots of diagnostics, burn in tests, done lots of work on this machine including multi day renders, and all other applications, including older versions of PS run fine. Computer is plenty fast etc. (1950X CPU). I'm not using external drives. I've tried disabling GPU use for PS, and that doesn't help either.

On top of this freeze issue, 20.0.1 has a bugs with modifier keys after each of these freezes. I can't for instance use ctrl++ or ctrl-+ to zoom. I can't user ctrl+c and ctrl+v to copy and paste etc. I have to reset PS to get them back to working.

Normally PS just works, this release though is very janky/broken. It feels like shareware or some upstart made it, not adobe in that regard.

I'm going back to PS 2018 until these issues are fixed. Snazzy new features are nice, but if the basics don't work then what's the point.
