Question

Photoshop 2020 - Colour settings file locked on Mac?

I keep getting the same warning when opening a files direct (i.e double clicking an images or dragging to the icon in the dock).

I get the attached warning window and the files doesn't open unless you go into photoshop > file > open.

I've updated to the latest version which I hate doing and it still hasn't changed.

I feel like this began when I installed anti virus, i've tried switching on off / disabling the software nd still have no chanegs?

Has anone else had any experience of this?

Thanks

Roger

Hi Roger,

Would you mind confirming the operating system version that you are working on? If you are using macOS Catalina, you can try to give access to Photoshop under the files and folders section by going to System Preferences > Security and Privacy > Priacy and also add Photoshop 2020 to the accessibility list for macOS Catalina to check if that helps. Also, are the images stored on an external hard drive or the internal storage of the computer?

You may also try to reset the preferences of Photoshop by following the steps mentioned in the link below:

Regards,

Nikunj
