Photoshop 2020 has running problems/freezes

Long-time user (since Photoshop was created), first-time reporter:

I've never had problems with Adobe Photoshop until now. Just tried 2020 and it's freezing on the slightest of things done (beachball turning indefinitely). I wanted to post because the more posts, I'm betting the quicker they'll get it rectified. Sad to see their flagship app failing.
