Photoshop 2021 crashes. Was happening before 22.3.1. Update did not solve issues.

Photoshop is unusable. A lot of the times, all I want to do is quickly open and crop a photo but the program won't get past opening the file. As soon as I click on it everything freezes. This has been happening for while now. I was excited for the new update, but it didn't solve anything.
