Question
Photoshop 2021 no longer my default photo editor
Since installing Photoshop 2021 on my Windows 10 Pro computer ...
- Images no longer open in Photoshop when double clicking on them in Bridge. They now open in Illustrator.
- When I use the 'File' and 'Open' menus, the program wants to open files from the cloud instead of my local computer. I do not use the cloud, and don't want to.
- In File Explorer (the Microsoft program) Photoshop is no longer showing as an option when I ask to 'Open with'. Furthermore, when I drill down in that function to explore additional available apps, Photoshop does not appear in the list. I have to continue drilling down into the program directory and select the .exe file before the image will open.
- When trying to set the default image editor for .jpg files, Photoshop is no longer listed as an option. In fact the only options shown are the ones distributed by MS along with Illustrator.
All of the functions described above worked in previous versions of the product. PLEASE FIX!
