Photoshop 2021 not working

Photoshop opens but all I see is the gray screen and can’t do anything even when I click File->New nothing happens at all. But if I open a file it opens up and photoshop works normally. Im using a MacBook Pro 2017 on Big SurOS 11.1 and Photoshop 22.1.0

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue? 

How about unchecking Photoshop > Preferences > General > Auto Show Home Screen?
