Photoshop 2022 crashes or freezes with NIK collection and DXO Photolab 4

Photoshop 2022 is crashing and freezing when I use Dxo Photolab 4 and plug in with the NIK collection. I am running an i-Mac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017) Processor: 3.5 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 Memory: 16 GB. Even if I open file from Photoshop direct, then try and go in to Siler Efex Pro 2 or Color Efex Pro 4, it crashes or feerzes after it launches. Does anyone know if either Apple or Adobe have a fix, or update to fix this problem. I don't think I am alone in this. I have tried RAW file as well as PSD file I recently worked on in Photoshop and know to have opened as smart file with adjustments from NIK. so should be able to just open double click make finer adjustment in NIK and save. Thanks for any insights you might have on a fix

Question: Are you seeing Photoshop crash, too, using NIK collection like the OP over a year ago?

Question: If one does disable these plug-ins, does it crash?

Photoshop 2022 is freezing when I use Ctrl+a. No recovery after waiting, I have to use task manager to close it. Hope someone sees this and fixes it.
