Photoshop 2023 , Brush tool or Any tool not working after open photos in tab windows

please help,  my brush or any tool not working after i switch tab to photos windows,
i try to update the photoshop but still solve the problme..

Try resetting your Photoshop preferences. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (macOS) immediately after launching Photoshop. You will be prompted to delete the current settings. You can also reset preferences upon a quit if Photoshop is running by going into General Preferences>General>Reset on Quit.

    Hi!

    Can you post a screenshot?
    Before the problem and also one after the problem occurs...
    Just so we can see if there is something selected between one and the other.

    Also which version of Photoshop are you using and your OS as well.

    Are you using a tablet or a mouse?

    Yes I know, many questions, but it's difficult to give an answer without knowing a bit more 🙂
