Photoshop 2023 Crashes on return from Skylum Neo Plugin in Mac OS Ventura 13.0 and 13.0.1

I recently "updated" my Mac OS to Ventura (first 13.0, then 13.0.1).  Since I did that, every time Skylum Neo Plugin (1.5.0) returns to Photoshop, it crashes.  Anyone else have this trouble?  Any fixes or workarounds?  This is a huge pain!  I can  use Neo in stand alone mode, and save an extra copy of the file, then edit that in Photoshop, but that really crushes the throughput.  Neo does not crash.

The problem reported on their forums is in reference to Skylum Neo and AI crashing.  Neo and AI both work ok stand-alone on my M1 Mac using Ventura.  It's photoshop that crashes on return from the plug-in.  That's a different issue.
