Photoshop 2023 (v24.0) requires font update and changes layout

I'm working on a project that was delivered, but now requires an update in one section.  The original project was designed in 23.5.2 and am I now opening the PSD in 24.0.  The font used in the project was Gilroy Semibold.  After opening the file in 24.0 it asks me to update the font.  When I do, it dramatically changes the kerning or tracking (without adjusting the actual settings) and the type is no longer in the same place.  I can adjust the settings to get it close to the way it was originally, but I need it to be exact.  If I open the PSD back up in 23.5.2 it does not ask me to update the font and I can continue working as I normally would without issues.  There is something different with how Photoshop 2023 (v24.0) is interpreting the fonts and updating them.  I will need to work in 23.5.2 on all projects in-process to make sure there are no issues moving forward.  This creates a lot of issues with the work that we are doing as a company and migrating to 2023 (v24.0).
