Hi,
There is an issue with Photoshop 2024 where if I save 32bit RGB values greater than 1.0 using a solid colour layer in a PSD, the values are not stored or read correctly when the file is reopened. If I create the same file in Photoshop 2019 from scratch then everything works as expected.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Create a new 32bit file in Photoshop 2024
2) Create a new solid colour layer with an RGB value greater than 1.0 (i.e 15.0 or 6.0)
3) Save the file as a PSD
4) Close and reopen the file
5) Check the 32bit RGB values to see if they are identical to your original values
6) Repeat in Photoshop 2019 to compare.
Attached are a couple of example files made in Photoshop 2024 and 2019 for your convenience.
Thanks!
