Hi all. For those who have the newest Photoshop update (25.1) installed and are having issues with the color picker and brush panel; you can fix the problem by reverting to the previous version (25.0). I've had some ttroubles with the (25.1) update such as brush panel closing everytime I relaunch photoshop--- very annoying, especially if you have alot of brushes; I'v also had problems with the Hue Saturation and Brightness sliders not moving whenever a new color is picked.

I deleted my preferences file before doing this and just wanted to let anyone else know if they have the same problem to just revert and not go through the hassel of resetting your customized workspace, shortcut keys and preferences. 🙂

I have had been unable to use Photoshop since the 25.1 update. It would open but I would get the message 'Photoshop has encountered an error and needs to close' message when I tried to use any of the tools. I have unistalled it and reinstalled the 25.0 version, which is running fine, but I am now getting messages to update to 25.1 , which I do not want to do because that will take me back to square one. How do I upload subsequent updates now?

Im using the 25.0 version aswell; wait until they release bug fixes for the 25.1 version before deciding to update.

Doesn't say much for pre-release testing of an app used by thousands!!!

That's not what happens to me. Every time I open this version of Photoshop, it always crashes and forces to close down entirely a few seconds after opening.

Did reverting versions fix your issue?
