Photoshop 2025 "Delete Tool" error problem

Question

I updated Photoshop 2025 and I can auto-select cables in the tutorial file, but when I auto-select people, I get the error message 'No non-subject people were found in the image'.

Hey, @Richard JS Lee. Welcome to the community! It sounds frustrating to encounter that error repeatedly. Please provide the System Info from Photoshop. You can find it by going to Help > System Info and copying the details here.

In the meantime, could you try using the removal tool on a different set of images with a more prominent subject? Is this a personal machine? Does Generative Fill & Select Subject (Mode: Cloud) work?
