Photoshop 21.0.1 Could not save *xxx* because write access was not granted.

I'm on Photoshop 21.0.1 Mac OSX Catalina. When trying to save a File I'm getting "Could not save *xxx* because write access was not granted." Document is on a Synology NAS. In all other CC Programs saving is not a problem. And additionally Photoshop creates a folder calles "Photoshop" with some temp files.

Hi there,

 

Sorry that you're getting an error message Could not save *xxx* because write access was not granted." on a Synology NAS and its saving it as a folder.

 

This is a known issue with Photoshop 2020 on Mac OS 10.15.

 

Our Engineering team is working on. We'd recommend that you save the file locally and then manually move it on the NAS drive.

I find a solution (i'm not a technical person but it seem to be working) ...
the synology DS was connected with AFP. when I connect the server wit SMB everything works!
