Photoshop 21.0.1 Selecting extension in Save dialog boxes?

Is it me, or is Photoshop also, annoyingly, selecting the extension in Save dialog boxes, specifically Save For Web?

What operating system are you using?

Sounds like macOS Catalina.

Hi Jeff,

That sounds like a strange behavior, could you try resetting the preferences of Photoshop and see if it helps? https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/preferences.html

Note: Make sure that you back up all your custom presets, brushes and actions before restoring Photoshop's preferences. Migrate presets, actions, and settings
