Photoshop 21.0.2 Smart Objects changing size on transform and export artboards

Question

Since updating to the latest version of photoshop when I transform smart objects are randomly resizing out of proportions (I realise the in pro key has changed). As an additional issue, when I export "Artboards to File" some smart objects resize again so I can no longer trust the process and have to spend 4 times longer exporting individually.

I am running Photoshop on an iMac running Catalina. Any fixes would be greatly appreciated

Document the issue and keep your Adobe Photoshop updated as it will get fixed over time. Do let Adobe know so they know it is a problem: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family. If you can work on a system with MacOs Mojave, then do that. I usually keep my system back dated until around March when Apple demands the uptate with their software. This gives Adobe time to clear out the problems.

Photoshop 21.0 & Photoshop 20.0.7 work with macOS 10.15 (Catalina) but have these known compatibility issues. You may want to remain on your current version of macOS until these issues have been resolved.

Adobe strongly recommends that customers do their own testing on a non-production partition to ensure that new operating systems work with their current hardware and drivers (printing, and so forth).
