Photoshop 21.0 Freezing Mask & Selection

When making a slection and then clicking on mask & selection, photoshop freezes. The graphics card starts to work continuoisuly but photoshop does nothing. I then need to go to the task manager and end photoshop. I have restarted my system various times.

Nope still having the same issue - still freezing

Looks like I solved the problem. Increased memory usage to 80%, increased cashe levels to 6. Seems to be working now

Select and Mask is OpenCL driven, using the GPU. So this is a problem with the video driver. Try to update it from the NVidia site.

Try deleting the Photoshop preference file from this location

C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop 2020\Adobe Photoshop 2020 Settings
