Photoshop 21.1.0 freezes and continually crashes iMac os Catalina 10.15.3

I updated my iMac OS to Catalina 10.15.3 about a month ago, and while working in Photoshop 21.1.0 using any function, I had issues with it freezing and crashing the computer. I followed a few instructions, including unplugging the computer, restarting, deleting and re-installing Photoshop, etc. Photoshop then worked for about 2 weeks, but now it is again freezing and crashing every time I open a file. It is incredibly frustrating and impossible to get any work done at all.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015)

4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7

32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3

AMD Radeon R9 M390 2 GB

Any fixes to this issue out there?!?

Thanks,

LF

Same Imac, same problems. I am now working on Affinity Photo that works fine. But as a Photoshop user since the beginning in the nineties I preferred for old habits sake PhotoShop. Its a pitty when you pay for CC. But certainly Affinity is cheaper with their 3 alternative pay once software solutions. So I give it a try untill maybe soon Photoshop will work normal again (or I stay with Affinity) ...
