Photoshop 21.2.1 : Unable to drag and drop images between different files

trying to drag a CC from a gfx pack to the thing im working on and it just doesnt work, how can i fix this?

If you are using Photoshop version 21.2.1, the issue has been reported to the product team and is being investigated. Please check: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/version-21-2-1-drag-duplicate-layer-to-another-document-doesnt-work-anymore

As a workardound, please try using copy and paste or the move tool to move assets between files/tabs in Photoshop.
