Photoshop 21.2 Problem after using Text tool

Today I updated to version 21.2, but I had to go back to the previous version. I have a problem using the "Text Tool". After highlighting or selecting any text, everything starts to happen very slowly. If I close the file and reopen it, everything is normal until I use the "Text Tool".
After I went back to the previous version, everything was fine. I'm thinking to use it until the bugs are fixed.

I don't see that problem here.

Have you tried resetting preferences? These are carried forward from the previous version and a corruption which may not have affected your last version may well show in the new. I tend to reset preferences on a new version as a matter of course.

I tried to reset the preferences, but the problem is the same. I open a file that has some paragraph text. With text tool just click inside. The screen flashes once and then everything starts to happen slowly (I mean scrolling, moving an object / layer, etc.). I close the file, open it again and everything is normal until I get to use text tool.
