Photoshop 22.1.1 freezes on MacBook Pro Mid 2015; macOS Big Sur Version 11.1

Hi,

Before yesterday PS worked perfectly.

 

What I've done already:

 

  • Added PS to Accessibility list, check mark included. Also full disk access granted. Restarted MBP.
  • PS memory usage is set at 90%

 

Your help is much appreciated.

Hi,

 

We’re sorry about the trouble with Photoshop. Did the issue start after an update to Photoshop or macOS? You can try disabling the option to Use Graphics Processor from Photoshop by going to Preferences, then Performance. Once done, quit & relaunch Photoshop to check if that helps.

Hi,

 

I should add that PS freezes only when using RAW.

The issue started way after updates for both macOS and PS.
