Photoshop 22.1.1 not able to generate tool previews

Hello,

I kept all my Adobe programs up to date but photoshop keeps doing this thing where the cursor will not generate the tool that I selected.

It will also not follow the preview function and will not do anything.

I have to repeat the process of saving, closing the file, reopening it, getting that symptom (in the video), saving, closing the file, reopening it..

Please help.

You can try two things:

Reset all tools. https://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/reset-toolbar-photoshop-cc/ Scroll to the bottom for how to to this.
Reset your preferences. https://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/reset-photoshop-preferences/
