Photoshop 22.2 is crashing on launch on Mac OS

Hi wondering if anyone can help.

The latest version of Photoshop 22.2, keeps crashing on mac when opening the program.

The earlier version 21.2.5 seems to work ok.

Intel Iris 1536 MB

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

2.8 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7

The version of Mac os = 10.15.5

Did you tried restoring the app preferences to default as suggested?

Restore it to what, no chnages have been made to the app. i use it as is, no customizations have been made.

Sorry that Photoshop 22.2 is not working on your computer as it crashes after you launch the app.

 

What is your computer's OS? It seems you're on macOS, please share the version of macOS as well. 

 

  1. If the app is crashing while opening and is stuck at loading "Halide Bottleneck" at the splash screen checkout these steps: If you're on macOS, please update to macOS Big Sur 11.2.1. For additional details, see Photoshop, Apple Silicon, and Big Sur | macOS 11
