Photoshop 23.11 freezes and crashing

Hello, I use windows 10,  I updated my photoshop six days ago to 23.11 version, It has been crashing rarely untill yesterday that has been freezing and crashing every 5-10 minutes. When I open photoshop a dialogue box comes out that says "Your graphics processor is incompatible". My graphics card is Intel(R) HD Graphics 4400 (INTEL), I followed the steps Edit>Preferences>Performance, in the section graphics processor the box "Use Graphics Processor" is unchecked and I can not check it, also I can not select the advanced setting underneath. What else should it do? Do you think it is a hardware problem?

If it is not hardware trouble how can I configure my graphics card so there is compatibility with this version of Photoshop?

Hi there,

We're sorry about the trouble with Photoshop due to the crashing and freezing issue. Would you mind sharing the version of the operating system you are using? Please go to Photoshop > Help > System Info, copy that info and send it to us.

Have you tried updating the Graphics processor directly from the manufacturer website to check if that helps?

Please check this link and see if that helps: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html#GPUandgraphicsdrivertroubleshootingsteps

Try optimizing the performance of Photoshop. Here is the link: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/optimize-photoshop-cc-performance.html

Let us know if that helps.

Tarun
