Since installing photoshop 23.5.1 update on my macbook Air iys being very unstable can some please advise me what to do.

What do you mean unstable? Is the OS crashing?  What Macbook Air are you working with?  Can you try another user account on the computer to see if the issue persists?

    uninstall it and see if that changes your mac's stability, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html\

     

    if your mac's still unstable, restore it to a time prior to the start of the instability problems.
