Photoshop 23: no more command option to resize brush?

I'm running PS 23.4.0 on Mac OS 12.5

In earlier versions of PS, I was able to resize the brush tool by holding control-option and clicking and dragging. Now, I just get the eyedropper tool.

 

Has this function disappeared? It would be nice to have back.

On a mac it should be Ctrl+Option left click and drag left or right.

 

Are you using a MacBook or MacBook Pro?

 

Also the lastest photoshop update is 22.4.2, so you might try applying that update and see if it makes any difference.

Thanks, Jeff - the control key on my external keyboard  is broken! Problem solved.
