Photoshop 24.1.0 opens .dds files as decompressed

Hello,

As said in the title of the topic, photoshop opens .dds files as decompressed.
How do i fix this? Or how do i compress them?

Honestly no idea what is going on nor what happened. Previously, all my .dds files were opening flattened, with visible alpha channels and colour map. Now they are decompressed, without visible alpha channels and looking like this as for example: 
.. Where it should look like this:

Saving with the proper settings with Nvidia Tools Plugin ( in BC7, BC5u formats, with Color Map image type, displaying compressed etc)  doesn't change anything.

 

Anyone has any idea [cursing removed] is going on?
