Photoshop 25 will not open files or save files. Open with and export will work only.

Upon opening Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.1.0 20231016.r.120 ca99df2 x64. Open files either on cloud or "on your computer" will not do anything. Freezes completely and exit is only available by clicking the X on the pop up. Also opening a file with the open with function is working. However, save or save as function does not work. Export As is only option. Please advise.

Hi @khardy25 were are your files stored when using "on your computer"? Do you have Dropbox or OneDrive installed/syncing?

Go to Photoshop Help Menu/System Info and copy/paste details in a reply. Post only once as the system takes time to process the large amount of data.

No drop box. Stored on local hard drive. Refreshing settings as I have seen on other posts did not work. Actually deleted and re-installed and nothing changed as well.

@khardy25 you system seems in order. In other posts with similar issues - its not that you are saving directly to Dropbox or Onedrive, its that it is installed and actively syncing causing issues.
