Question

Photoshop 3D rotation on axe Y. Good on preview but not on render video

Hello,

I try to do a simple rotation of 2 3D objects that I regroup (more easy for animation to me because they are stuck together).

I do the rotation choosing the group folder and using my mouse to move the objects. I do the key frames.

When I run the preview. It's great, it rotate with the Y axe where is the middle of the objects.

But when I render the video, the rotation is wrong.

It's like the Y axe is in front of the object, it move around a point I don't see (behind the camera I guess)

If I save the file, close it and reopen it, the coordinate change, everything has moved like the render video...

Why ?

What parameters should I check ?

Thank you for your help

Ok, so I had to do all the stuff from zero with a new document.

Now, it's ok.

But 3d in photoshop seems very buggy.

Even starting everything again, got some coordinate problem, displaying problem from what I see and what I get when I render or save and open file again...

Tried on CS6 extended and CC 2019 on MacOS.

3D in Photoshop is buggy and we have not seen any 3D bugs resolved for a long time. If you do, or intend to do, a lot of 3D work I would recommend using a 3D application, e.g. Blender 3D. You can still bring renders back into Photoshop for compositing

Yes I was looking over blender after I got so many problem with rendering on photoshop.

But it's so much easy with photoshop and we get a really good résult. So sad they don't fix it.

Lucky that my last try today worked.

I did more test.

When I add a key frames, and do the rotation.

The coordinate change.

When I change the coordinate to the correct one.

It change back the coordinate to a wrong one.

I can repeat 100 times, it won't consider my coordinate. Even on save, close, open the document.

That's why the rotation is not correct.

Did someone got this ?

How to fix that.
