Photoshop Artboards: Content will not paste in place from other artboards

Hello,

I have an issue that seems to be a newer bug after trying to use the artboards in Photoshop today.

When trying to copy and past graphic assets like text and images from one PSD to another PSD with artboards, or even just artboard to artboard, the content will not paste in place. Being that this is a GUI project it is an absolute insane workflow penalty. Any help would be appreciated.

SHIFT-CTRL-V will not actually paste it in place according to the artboard. It will paste it wherever in the work-space the content was located when copied originally.

    UPDATE: I have found a workaround for now, I have to copy the backdrop with the content so that the perceived center stays the same when I paste it. Although this works for now, it would be nice to have a correctly functioning quick paste in place like XD for PS Artboards.
