Photoshop Brightness/Contrast Algorithms

Hi,

I searched the Adobe Generic Image Library (GIL)for information pertaining to code or algorithms that Adobe uses for their Brightness and Contrast adjustments in Photoshop. I found nothing.

As I am new to the Adobe Open Source site, I wondered if anyone knows if there is information there (or elsewhere!) pertaining to this.
