Photoshop brush glitch?

I honestly am not sure how to describe this glitch other than that when i use the brush tool with any brush, photoshop offsets where the brush should be by about a pixel at a consistent interval. It appears the most on curves, I think. This has just started happening, I accidentally turned off pressure sensitivity, which somehow broke the textured brush I was using, and I think that in my attempts to fix it I turned something off. Does anyone have any ideas??? This is kinda a big thing since the skipping looks.....awful....

More info would be helpful.

You can reset your brushes by choosing Reset Brushes from the Brush Presets Panel Menu.

I agree with c.pfaffenbichler that we need some more information.

Having said that, and it's a long shot, could it have anything to do with with the spacing of the brush? Have you tried dropping it all the way down to 1%?

master mo c.pfaffenbichler (and Michael of course, but I'm replying to your response!) It turns out the whole issue was just a bunch of junk clogging up my ram, ugh, the simplest solutions are always the most obnoxiously elusive. But for the few remaining issues, changing the spacing and resetting all settings fixed everything back to normal! Thank you all so much for your fast replies, and so sorry for the lack of information in the first place! I wish I had managed to get a screenshot before I fixed the issue for anyone looking in the future, but alas...

Please post screenshots including all pertinent Panels to illustrate the issue.

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring the Tool and restoring the whole Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be good starting points:
