Photoshop cant find NEF files on local NAS drive

After a recent power outage I came back to my office and rebooted my mac to find that Photoshop "cant see" NEF files on a local NAS drive. I am able to see them and prep them in bridge, but when I go to open the files in PS CC 20.0.3 I get an error dialog "Photoshop could not complete your request because the file was not found". If I copy the files to my hard drive everything is fine, but this kinda screws up my work flow. This never happened in the past and Im not sure what might have changed with the unexpected outage and system reboot. Anyone have any suggestions?

    It's a issue with the latest version of ACR, see this thread
