Photoshop Canvas blacked out, color palette blacked out on my laptop. On external display, it works

I have the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo that was just released... the new photoshop was just released... so I'm having a hard time finding a solution to this.

Any ideas? I can't figure it out. I'm a former Mac guy who just moved back to PC, so I'm beyond frustrated.

I had to reformat the computer... complete factory reset and NOT update all
of the drivers. One of the updated drivers is bad. Can't figure out which
one it was.
