Photoshop CC (2017): RGB File type creating a white alpha channel on top of my alpha channel

Howdy,

I've encountered a problem that when I save a file as an Rgb in PS CC with an alpha channel it creates a white alpha and connects it to the file as a alpha channel 1 and makes the original alpha into alpha channel 2. Also this white alpha channel cannot be seen other than when using an older version of Photoshop. I was just wondering if somebody encountered this bug or a work around? :l

Can you post a screen shot of the channels panel as it looks before you close the file, and then again after you open it back up?

Hi

It is not something I have seen.

What format are you saving in e.g. PSD, TIFF etc

What bit depth 8 bit , 16 bit

Can you show your channels and layers  panels before saving and on reopening
