Photoshop CC 2018 crashes in Windows 10
Hi. First time in these forums as I cannot find anyway to contact Adobe Support staff...
A couple of days ago I finally upgraded my workstation from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Everything worked better than expected but one of the pieces I really did not imagine could bring me problems: Photoshop CC. It opens but freezes and after a few seconds simply closes. In the first time it presented a window asking for permission to send a log to Adobe (I allowed), the follow try outs it never offered to send the log again. It just closes and bye!
- I looked in the internet for possible solutions, including these forums, but I never found exactly a request like my problem, but I got some ideas and I tried but I failed miserably to put PS working
- I uninstalled and reinstalled the app a few times, just in case. It didn't work
- Interestingly, if I choose from Adobe Creative Cloud app to install an older version, as Photoshop CC 2017, it works as expected! The previously installed Photoshop CS5 also works without problems
- Bridge CC looks is working as expected although I did not made extensive tests
- I do not use LR
- Windows and drivers are up to dated
- FYI I am running with a GeForce GTX 780, driver v399.07
I really will appreciate if anyone can cast some light to solve that problem. Thanks in advance!
