Photoshop CC 2019 becomes unresponsive after several hours/days of inactivity

This issue came up in version 20.0.1 for me, and I haven't had it before in older versions of Photoshop.

When I leave the program open and untouched for 'too long' (sometimes after several hours, sometimes the next day), it freezes completely. I can't use the Windows Taskbar to select/close it, and if I minimize all the other windows to find Photoshop at the bottom, I can't click on anything either. The only thing that works is using the Task Manager to end the process and re-open Photoshop (luckily auto-recovery still does its thing though).

I'm stumped as to what's causing the issue, so I was hoping anyone might have a solution to this problem. Perhaps revert to an older version?

I'm using Photoshop 20.0.1 (20181029.r.41 2018/010/29: 1197484) with Windows 10 64-bit (10.0.17763.1).

Hi

A lot of people are experiencing the same issue and it's generally caused by the PC going into sleep/hibernate mode
