Question

Photoshop CC 2019 black screens (opening screen, raw, etc.)

Hi,
I see this question coming by often, but none of the suggested answers are solving the issue.

All my external windows in Photoshop are turning black and I can't see the sliders, text, or anything like it. I work in Photoshop Raw a lot, which is totally unusable right now. It only works when I open raw directly from Bridge (command - open in Raw), but this is a different version from the Photoshop Raw one.

Any idea how to fix the issue?
Thanks a million!
Best,
Yaël

Hello, which versions of Bridge, Camera Raw and Photoshop (Help/About Bridge in Bridge; Help/About plugins in Ps for ACR) are you using? You should have the same ACR version everywhere.

Also, This issue is often caused by conflicting GPU drivers, see step 7 in this help document: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/troubleshoot-gpu-graphics-card.html#GPUandgraphicsdrivertroubleshootingsteps

Hi, thank you. Well, it's solved, but with an updated version of Photoshop, so probably that caused the issue somehow... My best, Y
