Photoshop CC 2019 keeps freezing and crashing

So I've recently updated my CC 2018 version to the latest one ( 21.0.2 ) but whenever I'm working on a somewhat regular file (2000x2000px, 300dpi, with aproximately 30 layers) Photoshop suddenly freezes when I attempt to use any tool (be it the brush, eraser, laso, eyedropper) and just stays like that until I end the task on the task manager, no error window pops up. I would be so glad to be able to keep this last version but I can't keep loosing my work every 30 minutes...I have Windows 10 and all my drivers are up to date.

Hi! So sorry you are having this problem! I have a couple of questions for you: How much free space do you have on your hard disk? Have you set up an external HD as a scratch disk to give yourself additional free space to work with? And, I read that you updated your drivers--did that include checking to see that your Graphics card is up to date?

     Hi there! I'm so sorry I left this thread abandoned. I couldn't really find out what the problem was since I ended up buying a whole new and more powerfull pc to work, so thankfully that freezing issue is no longer happening.
