Photoshop CC 2019 Pattern Opacity Layer Style Display Issue

Running into an issue using Photoshop CC 2019 on multiple files recently, one case as of late where I've defined two sets of seamless patterns (.pngs @1x= 2KB per pattern & @15739213 = 5KB per pattern) all using transparencies. Added these as pattern overlay layer styles and placed and set opacities within the styles ranging from 20-35%. I've applied these patterns to multiple basic shape layers with opacities set at 100%.

The issue has been that the patterns have not been displaying at the correct opacity levels set within the layer styles initially. I've noticed that applying the same layer effect to multiple layers then changes the opacity visually on all other layer styles, jumping from 20-35% to what's visually on screen to more opaque than desired. Also a change to one layer style is automatically effecting other layer styles that do not have the same defined pattern layer style.

Can provide screenshots, screencasts, etc. Any troubleshooting help would be appreciated.

Attempted Fixes:

Multiple Adobe Photoshop CC Restarts with all applied changes above.

Is your photoshop cc 2019 updated to 20.04?

You can tell by in photoshop going to Help>System Info and looking at the top line for the Photoshop Version.

Also go to Edit>Preferences>Performance (windows) or Photoshop CC>Preferences>Performance (mac)

check Legacy Compositing and restart photoshop.

Hey Jeff, yes I'm running the latest version of Photoshop. I'll try the legacy compositing component out and see if that helps.
