Question

Photoshop CC UI font size on laptop 13" 1920x1080 is far too small

No matter what I do in the preferences>general>interface menu, the font size for all menus is too small to be usable.  None of the options appear to make any difference to the displayed size of either drop down menus or panels.  The laptop is a Dell inspiron with i7, SSD and 8Gb RAM, running up to date Windows 10 - display is 1920x1080, 13", and display scaling is set to 125%.  If I set the display scaling to 150%, not all the UI appears on screen, which makes PS unusable, as there is no access to the maximise/minimize or exit buttons, and the tool strip is cut off.

As I bought this laptop specifically for editing while travelling, this is very frustrating.  I need a solution and hoping someobody here can help.  It must be a comon problem - I've seen lots of other forum posts here and elsewhere with similar issues.  And I am paying Adobe every month!!!  Thanks for any help.

Photoshop requires a minimum 1280 x 800 screen with 1920 x 1080 recommended.

With your display scaling at 125% you turn a 1920 x 1080 screen into 1536 x 864 which is still above the minimum.

However with your display scaling at 150% you turn a 1920 x 1080 screen into 1280 x 720  for the UI with is below the minimum size for the application.

You try leaving the setting at 125% and setting Preferences > UI font size to large (as well as checking Scale UI to Font). You will need to restart Photoshop after clicking OK
