Photoshop CC2017.0.1 Liquify Trouble (macOS)

After last update I've got annoying trouble with Liquify filter: all tools don't work except Face-Aware Liquify. I can choose them but my cursor still has "hand" appearance and nothing changes. Restarting doesn't help. It can work one time after full reboot, but next time it doesn't work again. (MacBook Pro 13" early 2015 with last updates)

You are right about Wacom update.  It doesn't work on Mac.  I went to the website and downloaded from there and installed like a regular program.

Brand new beefy iMac and having trouble in Liquify.  It freezes when using the hand tool, or the side bar sliders. Crash results in having to force quite PS. Only happens when zoomed in, and adjusting view through sliders/hand tool.  Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, my Macpro, as of 3/1/17, freezes up in liquify tool when attempting to modify anything.  I can't escape the freeze either.  I have to shut down with hard button push.

Having the same issue with the newest update on my Mac. Photoshop seems to be fine except the cursor is stuck on the hand tool while in Liquify. However rebooting doesn't offer even a temporary fix. The tool is simply unusable.

I own a MId 2012 MBP OSX 10.11.6/CC 2017.0.1  I don't seem to have  a problem with Liquify, so I can suggest an idea or two.

Open the Liquify dialog and press the Option key on your Mac.  Cancel should change to Reset. Click on Reset to see if that works.

If not try a Preferences Reset, but save  any custom work spaces you have.

Does not work on MacPro... the only thing Liquify is good for is well - not much. Can't use it as it only has the hand tool available and no matter how many restarts I try - nothing changes.  Come on Adobe - what are we paying your guys for?

I do not use a Mac.  I had has image with faces that Photoshop did not recognize there was a face.  However other images with faces Photoshop liquify would recognize the faces and display the face marks over the faces.  Is your Space BAR getting stuck.  The pan tool shortcut? The hand tool.

Have no troubles with space bar or other keys. As I said it happens every time without reason. I have 20Gb free space, sufficient free memory... See no errors in Ps, it works almost without crashes (1-2 times per month). This trouble started just after last update. After reboot Liquify works, but later it doesn't...
