Photoshop Content Aware Unusable

Question

While using the Content Aware Fill, the first few photos worked fine. After that, not only did the Content Aware Fill stop functioning, but other editing functions including Generative Fill stoped functioning completely. Restarting the program, restarting the computer, driver updates, turning on/off GPU assist, updating photoshop, using previous versions of photoshop, using the photoshop desktop (beta), other community suggestions did not remedy the issue.

Did you reset Preferences (after backing up customization)? Doing a manual reset by renaming the file means you can put it back if it does not help.
