Photoshop crashes

Today every time I open photoshop and start working, it crashes and I lose all the progress. I got no idea what could be the reason. It's been the first time it happens to me.

The first thing to try is to reset Preferences. If you can open PS, go to Preferences > General > Reset Preferences on Quit.

 

If you can't, then quit PS then press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. The new preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.
